Rich,
Would you take a request to change a screen name? Does the forum have a policy on changing screen names?

Just send an e-mail to the moderators requesting the change. It took me two tries as they're busy but they made the change.

Regards, Greg

Yes....but you might want to read the terms of service:

We encourage you to use an 'avatar' which is a small photo that will appear under your screen name on each of your posts. Please make sure that, if you choose use an avatar, your face appears in the photo. Please ensure that the photo is the same dimension horizontally and vertically (i.e., a square) and that it is no more than 50 pixels on a side. While you can link to a photo hosted elsewhere, we prefer that you upload your avatar photo to the Forum so that it is always available. Avatars that do not adhere to these standards will be deleted.

And, even if your face does appear, sometimes your avator still gets deleted, Eek

I keep waiting for an email from the moderator that says,"In your case, we have decided that something other than your face would be preferable. Please consider a train wreck photo, or similar, instead". Big Grin

Well, I suppose that someone had a grudge against me to. I complied with the guideline "Please make sure that, if you choose use an avatar, you appear in the photo.", as quoted in their email to me. My avatar was of me in my TIE Pilot gear. I responded to the notification email with proof that it was a photo of me... but, I see that they have now deleted my avatar without any further reply.

I try to stay out of the forum politics... even keeping quiet when threads erupt into political rants. But this is really silly and pretty petty.

I just now noticed that the phrase "your face" is in the TOS. Okay... I can play under these rules. Cool
