My Christmas layout uses a custom length of straight track. Can Johnson's Rubber Roadbed easily be cut? If you have some experience, what is the best way?

Thanks!

Art says he has it.
Website says it is easy to cut.
My order went in the mail yesterday.

Scott,

It cuts easily. I use a pair of scissors, and if it reaches a point where it is too thick... I use a "Ginsu" knife Smile

Scott:

All you need is a pair of sharp scissors!

It is easy to custom-fit sections of both the curved and straight pieces. Smile

Thanks Tinplate Art. Thanks

If the scissors didn't work I was going to try rock, paper, lizard or Spock. Cool

Scott:

I have also used a single-edge razor blade for close trimming for a good fit. The blade can also be used to mark cutting locations for the scissors! Smile
