Finally posted some photos of the project I have been working on for about six weeks. I plan on taking this to shows and also running my tin plate trains on it at home. If I knew how to put the pictures here I would, but I don't know how to do that. You will have to go to the photo album.

That is pretty cool! It looks great and is still compact. How big is it, 4 x 6?

It is 4X5 1/2. It fits in my Blaizer.I wanted it to look like an old display.I used old Lionel Grass and I had the green and cream paint mixed.I build a D-27 display which is the Disapearing layout about 2 years ago.
I started buying Tinplate in March of 2007.I used to hate it now I really like it.I only buy the Lionel classics or the MTH repros.I want everything to look New.
I still am very active with the Pittsbirgh Indenpendent Hi-Railers.Also Like the Lionel PWC stuff.
But the Tinplate bug has got me.

Very nice work! I predict that this will be a big hit at any show where you display it.

What did you use for color samples to have the paint mixed?
